“After Tecolostote I was transferred to Barillas, Huehuetenango, Guatemala. I worked as I did in Nicaragua, with the sale of donated items we paid for the school fees for 27 students. With this we were able to help people who were really poor, children who did not have classroom materials, uniforms or money to eat anything at recess. From the money from the sale of donated items a portion was used to repair the roof of the school. One significant thing done at the end of 2017 was the purchase a small parcel of land for a small house for a grandmother with four grandchildren who had almost nothing to eat, and were being forced from the place where they lived in a house build with old tin sheets. Today they are happy though it is small, but it is theirs. Thank you for the generosity of each one of you who passed these items to us. Much can be done for the poor who suffer poverty which is the result of their marginalization. May God bless you and multiply those things which you generously share.
